Amber Johnston Reveals Leighton’s Daycare Debut—Here’s Why She Limited Comments
Little Johnstons star Amber Johnston posted a cute photo of Liz Johnston and Brice Bolden with their baby, Leighton, and told TLC fans that Leighton started “school.” Obviously, she didn’t and most likely began daycare. But, why limit comments?
Amber Johnston Posts About Leighton
As @team7lj is the official account for the Johnston family, lots of news arrives via that Instagram page. But in April, posts about Leighton were set for limited comments. As for Liz Johnston, she limited comments even before that. Admittedly, in her case, there were some nasty comments about falling pregnant and her wanting a little person baby.
Amber Johnston seems quite happy for her grandchild to carry the TLC show with new content for a few more seasons. However, it’s not going unnoticed by 7 Little Johnstons fans that she clearly doesn’t want any discussion about the kid who has no choice in the matter.
7 Little Johnstons Baby Starts ‘School’
It’s been a couple of months now since TLC fans wondered who would look after Leighton during the day. On Reddit, u/Far_Positive9879 speculated that with Liz Johnston, Brice, Amber, and Trent Johnston back at work, it might fall to Emma to be a stand-in babysitter. However, the obvious choice would probably be daycare.
Amber Johnston posted on Instagram on Tuesday, and told her TLC followers:
There’s another TLC personality who likes to describe daycare as “school.” That’s Loren Brovarnik who knows how to get people reacting to her often controversial posts. Many critics believe that in her case, engagement, even of the negative kind, seems to be everything to the 90 Day FIance star.
Why Limit Comments?
Trent Johnston does not limit comments on his Instagram when he shares photos and news about his grandchild. And yet, somehow, his comments section is not swamped with haters. Anyway, social media is a fickle place, and trolls eventually move on.
It’s not just limiting comments that puzzle fans of 7 Little Johnstons. It’s more about why Amber Johnston would use the word “school” in the post about Liz Johnston’s daughter. After all, she’s a college graduate and she more than likely understands how the word “school” instead of “daycare” would trigger critics.
Leighton turned nine months old two weeks ago. So, there’s no way she’s starting “school.” Until, pre-K, using “school” to describe what Liz Johnston’s daughter does during the day seems to be a deliberate poke at the TLC bear, and then slamming the door closed.
