Zach Roloff from Little People, Big World spills filming secrets. He and Tori Roloff say goodbye to filming, and now, they are revealing what went down behind the cameras.
Little People, Big World: Zach Roloff Reveals Filming Schedule
Zach Roloff is no stranger to living his life in the spotlight. He has spent most of his life in front of cameras. He is grateful for all the experiences and opportunities that came from it. However, having your life being filmed wasn’t always easy. And there is a lot to it that most people don’t know about.
The Little People, Big World cast member explains that the camera crew was always with his family when the show started. They would be there early in the morning and then leave around dinner time almost six days a week. However, that began to change as the seasons went on.
Zach explains that the show became a “scheduled reality.” The production would ask them what they had going on that week and what they could film. He also reveals that you could tell if a scene wasn’t filmed all in one day.
Zach Shares Televisions Perks
Zach reveals that they would meet the employee or store owner before filming a scene at a furniture store or a restaurant. He and his wife, Tori Roloff, found this odd because they didn’t know how to act when they started filming. She didn’t know if she should ask the server for their name, even though she was just told it minutes prior.
The Little People, Big World cast member also reveals that when he and his family filmed in Disneyland, they would use backstage access to get from one place to another. They would also close off a certain area if they were filming at a resort and needed a shot with no one from the public in it. Zach explains that it meant getting to go on private excursions.
Little People, Big World Celeb Admits Best Part of Filming
Zach Roloff’s wife, Tori Roloff, admits that the best part of filming a reality television show was the perks they got when they traveled. She feels that in some of the places she and her husband went to, they “got to do it like the movies.” She admits that her bachelorette party would have never happened if it wasn’t for the show.
Tori explains that the “crazy” trips to Hawaii or Australia were already a dream. However, the Little People, Big World celeb felt it was more of a dream because the show had to make it grand and good for television.
However, Zach admits he wasn’t good at doing things grand for the show. He explains that when he had to host a party, he would get a cake and some decorations. But production never thought it was good enough to be on television. So, they would get the production assistant to come in and take over.
