Laura Wright, the beloved actress who portrays Carly Spencer on GH, has been romantically involved with the charming Wes Ramsey, who previously played Peter August on the show, for years.

The stars crossed paths for the first time on the set of Guiding Light back in 2001, but it wasn’t until several years later that they finally went on their inaugural date in 2017. Laura played Cassie Layne Winslow while Wes played Sam Spencer.
Wes has appeared in several tv series and soaps in addition to his role as villainous Peter August; he’s appeared in CSI Miami and Charmed and Days of Our Lives.
However, he’s best known for his infamous role on GH as Heinrik Faison aka Peter August, the son of infamous villain Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and Alexandra Marick (Finola Hughes). But for the past several years, he’s been best known as Laura Wright’s “handsome fella”.

The most recent one, captioned “Lake life with the handsome fella“ by Wright, had her co-star, Cameron Mathison (Drew), exclaiming, “OMG, the best.” In the picture, they both smiled for the camera, with Wright lounging beside Ramsey under a cozy blanket.
Fans were thrilled to see another glimpse of the couple during their latest outing, and their friend Wendy Horvath commented, “Lake Life is the best life! See you soon, friends!” to which Wright replied, “Can’t wait.” The couple have documented many of their joint vacations on social media in recent years, all including many photos of them together.

Before heading to the lake last month, Wright and Ramsey had an exciting trip to Aspen to visit her son John; “Having fun in Aspen,” she exclaimed; “My heart is so full!” And in April, they celebrated their first-date anniversary. Ramsey said, “Time is a valuable gift – when shared with your best friend, it’s an adventure; when shared with the love of your life, it’s magical.”
He also urged everyone to “have faith in love, discover the mysteries and marvels of life with your special someone” in the wish that “you might find yourself again on the journey.” Looking back on his life with Wright, he remarked, “How fortunate to reveal your authentic self to the person you love-lucky seven for this thankful man-Happy Anniversary to this incredible woman!”.
