General Hospital Spoilers Video Preview July 9: All’s Fair in Love and Politics
What do you have to say for yourselves, Willow and Drew?
The next General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, July 9, 2024, focus on some post-fireworks drama between Portia and Laura, Nina and Michael, Cody and Mac, and those scandalous kissers, Willow and Drew.
Coming up in Port Charles
Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Joss (Eden McCoy) continue the Independence Day celebration (find out how soap stars celebrated July 4 with our photo gallery), having achieved their own sort of independence. The besties have moved away from campus housing and their parents’ house. Now, they’re living in their own apartment…on the Quartermaine mansion grounds, where there is a ton of protection, not to mention a million other adults and kids sharing the space. But, teasers suggest Trina is supposed to feel suspicious. So what triggers this reaction? Surely, it can’t be anything concerning Gio (Giovanni Mazza), who pops up today.
There’s plenty of other action at the Quartermaine manse. For something a little more intense, check out Laura (Genie Francis) and Portia’s (Brook Kerr) conversation. The two are on opposite sides of the Heather (Alley Mills) debate. Here, Laura’s mayor-splaining her side of things. She says she simply wants to see justice served. Meanwhile, from Portia’s perspective, justice has been done. Heather is behind Pentonville bars, and that’s where she needs to stay. After all, she targeted her baby.
Michael’s face always looks so sour when he talks to Nina (Cynthia Watros). It sounds like Nina tells Michael (Chad Duell) and Curtis (Donnell Turner — find out what’s up with Curtis later this week) that she’s grateful for getting another chance with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Of course, she has no idea what Willow and Drew (Cameron Mathison) are doing in the other room while she’s making nice with her daughter’s husband.
Speaking of Willow, she tells Drew, “I’m starting to wonder if it was completely random.” So, she thinks the kiss heard around the world didn’t just come from nowhere? That maybe something’s been percolating between them for a while? What exactly does she mean? More importantly, what does Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) do with what she knows?
Finally, Cody (Josh Kelly) drops the truth after months and months (and months) of sitting on his true paternity. If this happens and Mac (John J. York) truly hears what Cody revealed to him, how does Mac react? And we assume Maxie (Kirsten Storms) wants to know what the rest of us know but still don’t understand. Why did he lie? Hopefully, she’ll add “for so long” to the end of that sentence.
