Days of Our Lives Spoilers Friday, August 23 Recap: Abby’s Memory Charade, Holly’s Cabin Shocker and Dr. Greene’s Secret

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, August 23, reveals that “Abigail DiMera” (AnnaLynne McCord) spoke to her secret partner on the phone again and wasn’t sure she could keep doing this, but she got a reminder about how much was at stake.

Once Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) brought “Abigail” coffee, she put on quite a performance and pretended to remember the moment Clyde Weston (James Read) attacked her.

“Abigail” ultimately said the memory was fleeting and accepted Chad’s comforting embrace.

Chad thought this was great news and suggested that good memories would follow.

Although Chad wanted to spend the day together, “Abigail” suggested she should be alone to process things and decided to head to the park.

At the hospital on Friday’s Days episode, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) brought doughnuts from Sweet Bits and checked on Sarah Horton-Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) after her accident.

Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) recognized Holly as the girl who ditched Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) halfway through prom, but he seemingly understood it was just typical teenage shenanigans.

Holly pointed out that Aaron was in on the plan to help her spend prom night with Tate Black (Leo Howard), so there was some talk about Aaron and Tate being at lacrosse camp together.

Mark thought it was weird that Aaron had been tagged in a new online photo as “Tate Black,” but Holly obviously didn’t explain the scheme!

Speaking of schemes, Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz) carried out one of her own by showing up at the cabin, where Tate was doing his morning workout in his boxers.

Sophia was wearing something skimpy as she tried to seduce Tate, who insisted he loved Holly.

However, Sophia thought she could help with Tate’s pent-up desires and suggested that what Holly didn’t’ know wouldn’t hurt her.

Holly overheard from the doorway and fumed at the sight of Sophia with her hands all over Tate.

After Holly called Sophia a “skank” and kicked her out, she pushed Tate for answers about what she just walked in on.

At the townhouse on Friday’s Days episode, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) continued to wonder where his missing car was.

Brady also got updates on Sarah’s paralysis from Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) over the phone and dealt with more guilt.

In Fiona Cook’s (Serena Scott Thomas) hotel room, Brady showed up and had another freak-out about the possibility of being the one who paralyzed Sarah.

Fiona argued that Brady couldn’t be sure of anything and gave him a glass of vodka to calm his nerves.

Maggie showed up at the door with Victoria Horton-Kiriakis (Islay and Paisley Kerr) in tow, so Brady hid in the bathroom while Fiona agreed to watch her granddaughter.

At the Salem PD on Friday’s DOOL show, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) barged in and angrily accused Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) of not doing enough in hit-and-run investigation.

Jada found out about Sarah’s paralysis and explained the partial license plate lead they were working with.

Once Jada promised to be in touch when they made an arrest, Xander said the culprit had better pray the cops found him first.

Xander made his way back to the hospital, where he met Mark and was grateful Sarah’s work friend was taking a special interest in her case.

In the park on Friday’s Days episode, “Abigail” was frustrated since she didn’t see the person she was supposed to meet.

Mark finally arrived and urged “Abigail” to relax since he was right there.

Jada also stopped by the townhouse due to the hit-and-run investigation and told Brady that she needed to see his car.

Our predictions point to Brady’s legal trouble playing out in the coming episodes, so stay tuned!

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Fiona will have to keep covering her tracks for a while, so don’t miss all the action.
