General Hospital Friday, July 19 Recap: Lulu Gets Two Special Visitors – Runaway James Sneaks to Stables
General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, July 19, reveals that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) expressed concern to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) about John Cates (Adam J. Harrington) having an opening to take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
That’s why Jason stressed the importance of getting Sonny to trust him again and figuring out how to deal with John’s threat.
At the Quartermaine stables, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) were troubled over James West’s (Gary James Fuller) arrival.
It turns out James stole Georgie Spinelli’s (Lily Fisher) phone to get a ride-share and snuck off to the stables alone.
Cody called Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to come get James, who was confused over why Mac Scorpio (John J. York) didn’t want him to take riding lessons with Cody anymore.
At home on Friday’s GH episode, Maxie gently explained that something private was going on with Mac and ultimately sent Cody off to bed without any real answers.
While Cody gave Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) updates on what happened and got a pep talk, Tracy found Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) eating a sandwich back inside.
Although Tracy kept up her usual tough act at first, she eventually became fast friends with Gio as she asked about his favorite things and places.
At the Metro Court pool, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) returned Trina Robinson’s (Tabayana Ali) dropped turtle dove figurine since she found it during their move.
Trina broke down in tears since Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) had given it to her, so she told Josslyn the story.
After Trina admitted she was mad at Spencer for breaking his promises by leaving her, Josslyn did a Spencer impression and lightened the mood.
Josslyn also gave Trina some advice regarding grief as they leaned on each other.
In comatose Lulu Spencer’s (last played by Emme Rylan) medical room, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) found Laura Collins (Genie Francis) visiting her.
Laura and Dante shared some emotional moments since they were both missing Lulu and wishing she’d wake up.
Dante talked about Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) remembering Lulu more from her hospital bed than as an actual person in his life.
That’s why Dante worried it did more harm than good when Rocco visited.
Laura understood it was a tough situation, but she felt Rocco was old enough to decide for himself when it came to visiting Lulu.
