Is this a delayed reaction from Sharon?

On the July 15 episode of The Young and the Restless, Sharon seriously struggled. Nick, Mariah, and Tessa also realized she wasn’t acting right, so they went to check on her, but why is this happening?

Slow Moving Tragedy

For a while now, Sharon (Sharon Case) has been in a downward spiral. It’s not surprising, though. Not too long ago, she had to give up Sully because he was really Christian Newman. Later, she married Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), but they didn’t have much time together before he died. Then, not that long after, Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) kidnapped Faith (Reylynn Caster), and Sharon ended up killing him.

Sharon struggled a bit through all those things, but she mostly just moved on quickly. She has devoted much of her time to running the company she inherited after Kirsten died, which she renamed Cassidy First Technology. Sharon is a therapist, and she’s always giving other people advice. However, it looks like she might not be taking her own advice.

A few weeks ago, Sharon told Nick (Joshua Morrow) that she was dealing with an adjustment to her bipolar medication. But, is that all that’s going on with her? She’s also seemed to struggle a bit around Daniel (Michael Graziadei). Today, she saw the ghost of Cassie (Camryn Grimes), and she cried while being surrounded by Nick, Mariah (Camryn Grimes), and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).

This seems like it could be a lot more than medication issues. Perhaps Sharon is having a delayed reaction to everything she’s dealt with in the past several years. Sure, a medication change isn’t helping things, either. Will Nick, Mariah, and Tessa support Sharon in getting help before things go too far, or will this lead to another full-on breakdown for Sharon?
